Richard Shaw is the principal of QVM, and the portfolio manager.

Richard Shaw focuses on our research, portfolio management and investment coaching service, and writes for our blog.

He has extensive investment industry experience including, among others, having served on the Board of Directors Phoenix Investment Counsel (now Virtus, listed NYSE) and on the Board of Directors of Aberdeen Asset Management (one of the largest asset managers in the United Kingdom, listed London Stock Exchange) and as a charter investor and director of Lending Tree. He is a 1970 graduate of Dartmouth College.
